Secondary Teaching Assistant – Sheffield

£95-£120 per day | Full Time | Immediate Start

CER Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students in secondary education settings across Sheffield. About the Role

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning by:

• Providing classroom support across a range of subjects
• Working with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning
• Supporting students to remain engaged and focused during lessons
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a productive learning environment
• Supporting students with varying learning needs and abilities
• Contributing to the wider school community and student wellbeing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A passion for education and supporting student achievement
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Experience within education, coaching, youth work or support work is desirable but not essential.
