The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic progress.

Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and other school staff
  • Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for Science Teachers who:

  • Have qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Are passionate about education and committed to supporting pupil achievement
  • Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Are reliable, adaptable and professional
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
