Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music to join a dynamic secondary school in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that bring the world of music to life.
As a Teacher of Music, you will:
- Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, ensuring lessons are creative, practical, and challenging.
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and departmental resources.
- Encourage student participation in performances, ensembles, and extracurricular music activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can develop musical skills and confidence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Music in a secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students through engaging and practical teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to drive is preferred; if not, reliable access to public transport is essential.
