CER Education are recruiting Unqualified Teachers to work in secondary schools across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for confident individuals who are passionate about education and ready to take the next step into teaching.

About the Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering lessons and supporting students’ learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across your subject specialism or a range of curriculum areas
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Assessing student understanding and adapting your teaching approach where required
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to students and school staff
• Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

About You

We are looking for individuals who have:

• Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, tutoring or training environment
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence leading groups and delivering learning activities independently
• A good understanding of the secondary curriculum
• A genuine passion for supporting young people’s development
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Access to transport is desirable, although excellent public transport links are available
