Teaching Assistant
Location: Formby, Liverpool
Start date: September 2026
Daily rate: £92.59-£110, dependent on experience
CER Education are seeking committed Teaching Assistants to join primary schools across Formby and nearby areas of Liverpool from September 2026.

Job responsibilities:
- Prepare classroom resources and learning activities, helping to maintain a welcoming, well-organised environment for every pupil.
- Provide focused support to individual children and small groups so they can participate fully and develop their understanding.
- Assist the teacher with lessons, classroom routines, transitions between activities and the safe supervision of pupils.
- Deliver sensitive one-to-one support for pupils with SEND or other additional needs, encouraging participation, confidence and growing independence.
Role requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in a school, nursery, care, coaching or comparable setting would be an advantage.
- A relevant qualification in childcare, education or supporting teaching and learning is desirable, but not essential.
- A current enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application through CER.
- Right to work in the UK and professional references.
