CER Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in several primary schools across Liverpool, supporting EYFS, KS1 & KS2. We have both day-to-day supply and long-term roles available making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexibility around their availability and career goals. We offer a competitive day rate of £92.59-£110 per day.
Job responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom, working 1:1 or with small groups to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities, helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where children can learn and thrive.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to class teachers.
- Promote positive behaviours and help manage classroom routines, including supervising activities and break times.
Preferred skills
- Previous experience in a teaching assistant role or working with children.
- A relevant qualification in education is desirable.
- An enhanced DBS on the live update service is required, or willingness to apply for one through CER.
