Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across primary schools?

We are seeking enthusiastic and supportive SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a variety of welcoming mainstream primary schools in Worksop & surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and socially within an inclusive classroom environment.

The Role:

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
  • Work on a one-to-one basis and with small groups of pupils.
  • Support the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
