CER Education are currently recruiting for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of schools in Rotherham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional & mental health (SEMH) needs
• Work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates who:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Are adaptable and confident in different classroom environments
• Have a genuine passion for supporting SEN learners
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
