Science Teacher – Sunderland

Full-Time | Paid to Scale (M1-UPS3 / £174.71 – £270.94)

CER Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Sunderland. This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and continuing for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Be confident across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
