CER Education are recruiting passionate and adaptable Primary School Teachers to work with our partnership schools across East Yorkshire, including market towns, rural villages, and surrounding communities.

This role offers the perfect blend of flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a real impact across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Many of our schools are located in picturesque rural settings where strong community values and supportive school environments help pupils thrive.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to build confidence in different settings, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop professionally, and discover the type of school that best suits your teaching style.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Adapt quickly to new school environments and demonstrate initiative
  • Assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools (references required)
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable, as many of our partner schools are located in rural areas with limited public transport links
  • Willingness to travel between schools across the East Yorkshire region
  • Passion for supporting pupils’ learning and development

What’s in It for You?

  • Competitive daily rates, often aligned with the Main Pay Scale
  • Work matched to your preferred age group or specialist subjects
  • Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
  • Free access to CPD and training opportunities
  • £250 refer-a-friend bonus
  • £100 ECT Sign-on Bonus
  • £300 sign-on bonus for teachers joining from another agency
  • Friendly, knowledgeable consultants who understand the education sector
  • Opportunities to work in a diverse range of schools, from vibrant market towns to welcoming rural village communities
