Further Education & Careers
CER’s Further Education (FE) service provides specialist Further Education staff from Invigilators and Learning Support to Lecturers and Leadership professionals.
Our FE department partners with colleges, sixth forms and training providers across the UK, particularly within the North and East of London to streamline their recruitment process and support them in attracting the best talent in the market.
One of the main parts of our service is to supply high-quality exam invigilators to colleges and sixth forms. We not only recruit exam invigilators, but we also train and monitor the staff, so they are fully prepared and supported within their role.
As many exams are now taken online, we offer a pilot run of using any upgraded software to ensure the system operates smoothly whilst the exam is taking place.
CER has offered a range of specialist career services to education establishments for more than ten years.
We offer schools, academies, colleges and sixth forms one-to-one careers services, coaching, mentoring and group work delivered by our highly qualified Level 6/7 Careers Advisers. Our clients can ‘buy as you go’ on a daily or weekly basis or work in partnership with a longer-term commitment.
In addition to our careers service, we also supply Employment Engagement Advisers to provide employability support and work experience programmes.
At CER, we believe work experience is a fundamental part of the development and progression of a young person to help them build an understanding of a work environment and develop valuable skills such as communication, team-working and problem-solving.
We have created a programme of Virtual WEX delivery across a wide curriculum, fully tailored with live employer work-based tasks. This means that students have even more opportunities as they can connect with employers across the UK, regardless of their geographical location.
