This is an exciting opportunity to join a school on a long-term maternity cover contract, delivering engaging Psychology lessons and inspiring students to develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject.

The Role

As a Psychology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Psychology lessons.
• Teaching and inspiring students, encouraging curiosity and independent thinking.
• Preparing students for assessments and examinations.
• Monitoring, assessing and reporting on student progress.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience teaching Psychology at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Psychology.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Reliability, flexibility and a professional approach.
