SEN Teaching Assistant – Flintshire

CER Education are recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistants who have a passion to support the next generation.

The school, based in Flintshire provides support to pupils aged 4-16 with SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). It is essential that you have had previous experience supporting in a similar environment and that you are familiar with following EHCP’s (Education, Health and Care Plans).

The role is 5 days a week and to start as soon as possible and the contract will initially be offered on a Temporary basis but does have a view to become permenant for the right applicant.

To become part of the CER Education team ideally you will have:

• Previous experience with pupils with additional needs such as SEMH
• Be comfortable working 1-on-1 with students.
• Work well under considerable pressure.
• Be both adaptable and flexible.
• Have excellent punctuality and organisation.
• Be positive and friendly.
• Possibly extra qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, PRICE etc.)
