Role Overview:

We are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges across Milton Keynes during busy examination periods. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within education, helping to ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with awarding body regulations and school procedures.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, as assignments may be across multiple schools and colleges throughout the Milton Keynes area.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will:

  • Supervise students during examinations, ensuring examination regulations are followed at all times.
  • Prepare examination rooms, including setting up desks, distributing papers, and checking attendance.
  • Provide clear instructions to candidates before and during exams.
  • Monitor exam conditions to maintain a calm, secure, and fair environment.
  • Collect and securely return examination papers and materials at the end of each session.
  • Report any incidents, irregularities, or breaches of exam regulations to the Exams Officer.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and vigilant throughout examinations.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to commute reliably to schools across Milton Keynes.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
