Daily Rate: £92.59 – £110, dependant on experience
CER Education are currently recruiting for teaching assistants to support pupils in primary schools in Crosby and the surrounding areas.
This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys supporting children’s development and wants to make a positive difference in a primary school setting. Whether you already have school-based experience or are keen to start a career in education, CER can offer flexible day-to-day supply work and longer-term placements to suit your availability and career goals.
Role responsibilities:
- Helping to prepare learning materials, organise classroom resources and maintain a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting individual pupils and small groups to develop their focus, participation and progress during lessons.
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities, pupil routines, transitions and supervision as required.
- Offering additional 1:1 support to children with SEND or other learning needs, encouraging confidence, independence and active engagement.
Preferred skills:
- Experience supporting children, either in a school, childcare or similar setting.
- A relevant education or teaching assistant qualification would be beneficial, although it is not essential.
- An enhanced DBS on the live update service, or a willingness to apply for one through CER.
