Are you passionate about helping children with additional needs succeed in education?

CER Education are looking for supportive and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Grimsby and the surrounding areas.

We have opportunities for experienced Teaching Assistants as well as candidates with relevant experience supporting children or young people who are keen to develop a career in SEND education.

You could be supporting pupils with needs including PMLD, MLD and complex learning difficulties, helping them develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Helping children access classroom activities and learning
• Supporting individual targets outlined within EHCPs
• Encouraging communication, engagement and independence
• Helping maintain a calm and positive learning environment
• Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• UK school experience desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, resilience and a positive attitude
• A commitment to helping pupils reach their potential
