SEND Teaching Assistant – Hull

£95-£115 per day | Flexible Work | Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities

CER Education are recruiting dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work with pupils across specialist and mainstream school settings in Hull and the surrounding areas.

We’re looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

You may support pupils with a range of additional needs, including PMLD, MLD and complex learning difficulties, working closely with teachers and SEND teams to help pupils access learning and achieve their potential.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group SEND support
• Support pupils with learning activities and classroom routines
• Adapt activities around individual needs and EHCPs
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification desirable
• Previous UK school experience desirable
• Patient, caring and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
