About the Role

As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting local schools by delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils in Years 1 and 2.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching and delivering the KS1 curriculum effectively
• Creating an engaging and nurturing classroom atmosphere
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Adapting teaching styles to meet the needs of different learners
• Following lesson plans provided by the school and providing feedback where required

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible and professional approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
