Job Title: Year 5 Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover

Pay: £150 to £250 per day

CER Education are working exclusively with a large trust within the York area that are looking for Year 5 teacher for a Maternity role starting in September 2026. The role will run until at least June 2027 and possibly until the summer break. This is a fixed-term contract.

It is essential you have experience teaching Year 5 or KS2. You will need to be organised, innovative and draw on the students interests to ensure progress is made.

The trust / school will provide you with SOW, resources and will provide you with opportunities to access the CPD programme. The successful teacher will work with a team of specialists and will inspire all students to make progress. You will also have the support of a Teaching assistant within your class.

To be considered for the role of Year 5 teacher you must:

*Have experience teaching Year 5 / KS2 within a UK school
*Manage lesson preparation in line with school policies
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
