Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary Schools

Location: North Wales – Denbighshire, Flintshire and Conwy

Start Date: September 2026

Pay – £462 to £550 ( weekly ) ( inclusive of holiday pay )

CER Education are expanding their team of Teaching Assistants to work in Secondary Schools across North Wales and surrounding areas – Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham and Conwy.

These roles are full time, part time, or flexible short term and you will be working as a 1:1 SEND support or general classroom assistant in KS3/ KS4.

This role will immediately after successful interview and onboarding process which includes references and applying for an Enhanced DBS.

What you’ll need

• Teaching Assistant qualification or experience of supporting children/ young adults
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independantly and as part of a team
• To be able to support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one – CER can help you apply for one !
