Teaching Assistant – Stockton-on-Tees

£95 – £115 per day

CER Education Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary and secondary schools in Stockton-on-Tees and the surrounding areas.

Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate considering a career in education, or someone with experience in care, youth work, coaching or support work, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Encouraging pupil engagement and positive behaviour
• Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
• Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, reliable and proactive attitude
• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for supporting pupils to achieve their potential
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
