CER Education Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Science Technician for a September start.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging science lessons.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials, supporting practical lessons, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, and assisting teaching staff across the Science department.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Science Technician or within a laboratory, scientific or educational setting.

Requirements:

* Relevant Science Technician, laboratory or practical science experience

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

* Knowledge of laboratory health and safety procedures

* A proactive and flexible approach
