Science Teacher – Newcastle

Start Date: After May Half Term | Full Academic Year

Full-Time | Paid to Scale (M1-UPS3 / £168.80 – £261.78)

CER Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Newcastle. This is a full-time role starting after May half term, continuing for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Be confident across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
