Nursery Nurse (Level 2 or 3) – Sheffield

CER Education are looking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join one of our welcoming partnership nurseries in Sheffield. If you are passionate about early years education and want to make a positive impact on young children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating and engaging environment in line with EYFS standards
• Support children’s physical, emotional, social and educational development
• Lead and join in with fun, age‑appropriate activities that encourage growth and exploration
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families
• Observe, record and celebrate progress and developmental milestones
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and high hygiene standards
• Work effectively with other practitioners to promote a strong team culture

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
• Experience working with young children (nursery or early years setting preferred)
• Passion for supporting early childhood development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A current DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
