Teacher of Maths

Location – Wirral Start Date: February 2026 through to July 2026.

Pay: £168 – £232 (dependent on experience & role)

CER Education is recruiting a Maths Teacher to support secondary schools across the Wirral area. This role is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers who are confident delivering Maths and looking for flexible or long – term work within supportive school environments.

This Role

You will be responsible for teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering clear and engaging lessons that support pupil understanding and progress. The role involves managing classroom behavior effectively, following school polices and ensuring students remain focused and on tasks. You will be expected to assess learning where appropriate and provide feedback to support pupil achievement, working closely with school staff and the wider Maths department.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or working towards it.
  • Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school (Including placements)
  • Confident classroom and behavior management skills.
