CER is excited to be supporting a range of colleges across South East London, (Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich) in recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for full-time positions starting in September 2026.
Whether you’re experienced in supporting students with additional needs, helping learners access the curriculum, or providing one-to-one support, we’d love to hear from you.
Some of our positions require additional specialist skills, including:
🩹 First Aid Training or willing to complete the training
🗣️ Makaton Experience
🤟 British Sign Language (BSL) Experience
These roles offer the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment where every learner can thrive.
🎯 Ideally you will have:
* Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar support role
* Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs (desired)
* First Aid qualification (for some positions)
* Makaton and/or British Sign Language (BSL) experience (for some positions)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
* A genuine passion for supporting learners to reach their full potential
