Exam Invigilator

Location: Bedfordshire
Hours: As required during exam periods
Salary: £13.12-£17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Role

We are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support the smooth running of examinations across our Bedfordshire schools. This is an important role ensuring exams are conducted in line with awarding body regulations and school policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up examination rooms prior to the start of exams
• Ensure exam conditions are maintained throughout
• Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
• Supervise candidates during exams and respond to queries in line with regulations
• Report any irregularities or issues to the Lead Invigilator or Exams Officer
• Assist with the efficient start and finish of each exam session

The Ideal Candidate

• Calm, attentive and professional at all times
• Able to follow instructions and procedures precisely
• Good communication skills
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Experience as an exam invigilator is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
