CER Education is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in East Durham.

This is a full-time position starting on 1st September 2026, with the potential to continue for the full academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive department and make a real impact on students’ learning and achievement.

The Role:

• Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 (where applicable)
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• Inspire students to achieve their full potential
• Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive school team

We are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent UK secondary school teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for delivering outstanding teaching and learning
