CER Education Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Rotherham on a supply basis.

We work closely with schools throughout the area, offering flexible day-to-day cover, short-term assignments, and long-term placements. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified support staff looking to broaden their experience while making a positive impact on children’s learning and development.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will provide valuable support to teachers and pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 settings.

Your duties may include:

• Supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning
• Working with individuals and small groups to boost progress and attainment
• Delivering targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Covering lessons and leading learning activities when necessary

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience working within a UK primary school
• Confidence supporting pupils across different year groups
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s educational development
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
