The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development both inside and outside the classroom.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
• Assisting children with varying educational and developmental needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Providing feedback on pupil progress where appropriate
• Supporting classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and professional attitude
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
