Hours: Split shift 6:40am – 10:00am and 2:30pm – 6:30pm (hours negotiable for the right candidate)
Weeks: 52 weeks per year
Salary: SCP 7-10 (£26,403 – £27,694 per annum)
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking a proactive, reliable and skilled Caretaker to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in ensuring our school remains a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys a hands-on approach to site care and facilities management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, security, maintenance and presentation of the school site, helping to ensure that pupils can learn and thrive in an environment that is safe, clean and well maintained.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, School Business Manager and wider staff team, you will contribute to the smooth running of the school through effective site management, compliance monitoring and maintenance activities.
