CER Education is seeking reliable Teaching Assistants to work with primary schools across Prescot and the wider Liverpool area from September 2026.

Job responsibilities:
- Prepare learning materials, organise classroom resources and help maintain a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
- Support individual pupils and small groups to improve their focus, participation and progress during lessons.
- Assist the class teacher with daily activities, pupil routines, transitions and supervision.
- Provide one-to-one support for children with SEND or other learning needs, encouraging confidence, independence and active engagement.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people in a school, childcare, care, coaching or support setting is advantageous.
- A relevant qualification in childcare, education or supporting teaching and learning is desirable but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS application through CER.
