The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in Years 1 and 2
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
• Support phonics, reading, writing and maths activities
• Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils with SEND where required
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• Teaching Assistant, childcare, youth work or transferable experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
• A passion for supporting children’s education
