Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to secondary pupils (ages 11-16)
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain on task
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
• Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons

This role does not require planning or marking, making it ideal for those looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing teacher training.
