INCLUSION AND SUPPORT WORKER

CER are currently recruiting for an inclusion support worker to join an academy in Northumberland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic Pastoral, Behaviour and Inclusion team, making a real difference. As a key member of this highly skilled and dedicated team, you will play an essential role in enabling all young people to thrive in their education.

The role is varied, fast-paced and deeply rewarding. You will work closely with students, particularly those with more complex needs, supporting them to feel safe, confident and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students with EHCPs in both classroom and one-to-one settings
  • Implementing personalised learning strategies and care plans
  • Collaborating with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Promoting inclusion and positive learning experiences across the school

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people with additional needs or disabilities
  • Understands EHCPs and the importance of differentiated support
  • Is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child succeed
  • Can build positive, respectful relationships with students and staff
  • Holds a relevant L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification (desirable)
