Music Teacher (Full-Time Supply) – Secondary School, Sheffield

Location: Sheffield, UK
Contract: Full-time supply (4 days per week considered, full-time preferred)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until the end of the summer term (initially)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sheffield on a full-time supply contract. This role is available immediately and will run until the end of the summer term in the first instance. A four-day working week will be considered for the right candidate, though full-time is preferred.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a love for music through creative and dynamic teaching methods.
• Support students in their academic and extracurricular musical development.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including school performances and music events.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with a passion for engaging students.
• Enthusiasm for music education, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
