About Us:

At CER, we work with a number of vibrant and inclusive primary schools located within Doncaster, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their students. They are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants to uphold their commitment to academic excellence and holistic development ensures every child is supported to reach their full potential. We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join CER where they can support in either a long term or short-term role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups, or whole classes under the direction of teaching staff.
  • Support the classroom teacher in the delivery of the curriculum.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning environments.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and development activities as required.
  • Support with administrative tasks and classroom organisation.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about working with children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
