Position Overview: We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to cover a range of subjects within secondary schools in Barnsley. Whether you specialise in Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, or any other secondary subject, we have opportunities available for both full-time and part-time contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across various subjects, following the school’s curriculum.
- Adapt to different classroom environments and effectively manage student behaviour.
- Implement lesson plans and ensure continuity of education during staff absences.
- Engage and motivate students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in your specialist area.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work flexibly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
