Year 2 Teaching Assistant

CER Education Liverpool are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 2 teaching assistant to work full time in a Liverpool Primary School.

School is in the L7 area of Liverpool and this role is to start in January 2026!

The role is to work as a general teaching assistant supporting the whole class and small group interventions.

You will be working as part of an experienced Key Stage 1 team and will be supported by the class teacher.

Job Responsibilities;

• Supporting the needs of the children.
• EYFS curriculum knowledge.
• Setting up and running interventions.
• Classroom resource and preparation.

Preferred Skills;

• Qualification within education.
• Previous experience in teaching assistant roles.
• Resilience and great work ethic.
• Experience working with small groups and 1:1 support.
• Assist students during lessons and ensure they are on task.
