Job Title: Tutor

Location: Doncaster, UK (Student’s Home)

Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 2 hours per day

Are you passionate about empowering students to excel academically? We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher to provide personalized instruction in GCSE Maths and English to a year 11 student in their home in Doncaster.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the individual needs of the student.
• Provide support and guidance to help the student master key concepts and skills in GCSE Maths and English.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic growth and confidence building.
• Assess the student’s progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the student and their parents/guardians to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths and English, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and exam requirements.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the learning style and pace of the individual student.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Schedule:

• Wednesday to Friday
• 2 hours per day (flexible timing based on availability)
