Exciting Opportunity: EYFS Teaching Assistant Position

Location: S13 Primary School

We have an exciting opportunity in one of our schools for an experienced EYFS teaching assistant to join their committed and friendly staff in September. They are a two form entre school near the city centre.

About the role:

• Support the delivery of high-quality learning and care for children and young people with special educational needs both in and out of the classroom.

• Supervising and actively engaging children in various learning and play activities.
• Providing close support to pupils facing challenges within the classroom environment.
• Collaborating closely with fellow team members.
• Tailoring support and teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of the children.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid DBS (or be willing to obtain one).
• Provide a minimum of two suitable references covering the last two years.
• Experience working in schools.
