CER is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a promising Acadamy supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Heath (SEMH) needs.

About our client school: An exciting new opportunity has opened in the Dorking, Surrey region working exclusively with a Trust. Our client school are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support interactive lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student you are working with.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the curriculum.
  • Supporting boys aged 9 to 16 with SEMH needs
  • Participate in school events, and extracurricular activities as required.

Our client school are also keen to hear from Early Career Teachers who are seeking to forge their career within Primary school Education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working as an Teaching Assistant
  • A passion for education
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
