Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: Liverpool

Start Date: February 2026 – July 2026

Pay – £445 to £530 ( weekly ) ( inclusive of holiday pay )

CER Education is supporting a 2 form entry Primary school in Liverpool in recruiting a FULL TIME Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEMH needs.

This role will start in February 2026 and will run potentially for the full academic year to July 2026 .

There will also be some general classroom support element to your role.

What you’ll need

• Teaching Assistant qualification with classroom based experience Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independantly and as part of a team
• To support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
