CER Education is currently looking for an Early Years qualified Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support and personal care for a pupil within an Early Years setting at a Primary School in Huyton, Knowsley.
This role is due to start on 31st January 2025 and will continue to July 2025.
Full-time hours working 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday.
The school is based in the heart of the Huyton community and has an on site car park, although it is easily accessible by all major transport routes. A warm, friendly staff and very supportive EYFS team are present to give advice and support your development within the role.
Job Responsibilities
– Assisting the classroom teacher with daily tasks and activities
– Supporting a pupil within Reception on a 1:1 basis, inclusing personal care
– Having a positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
– Keeping children focused and engaged in their learning using different tools and methods
– Providing assistance during classroom activities and lessons
– Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
– Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils
Preferred Skills
– Experience working in an EYFS setting and must be qualified to Level 3 standard
– Understanding of OFSTED requirements
– Understanding of Safeguarding
– Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete and pay for a new DBS application
