CER Education is currently looking for a highly motivated and engaging Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support for KS2 pupils, helping them achieve their full learning potential.
Full-time hours working 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibilities
– Assisting the classroom teacher with daily tasks and activities
– Supporting children with their learning and development
– Having a positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
– Keeping children focused and engaged in their learning using different tools and methods
– Providing assistance during classroom activities and lessons
– Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
– Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils
Preferred Skills
– Experience working in a classroom setting
– Confidence supporting children and young people with diverse learning needs
– Understanding of OFSTED requirements
– Understanding of Safeguarding
– Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete and pay for a new DBS application
