Job Title: Teacher of Geography

Location: Sefton

Start Date: January 2026

Pay £31650 – £49,084 per annum ( inclusive of holiday pay )

Pay will depend on current pay scale, evidence of this will need to be provided.

CER Education is working with a popular, oversubscribed secondary school in Sefton to recruit a dedicated Geography Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing department and help students achieve their potential. You will be responsible for supporting students from Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4/ 5, equipping them with the confidence in Geography through to A’level.

The role is to start in March 2026 and will continue until July 2026.

What you’ll need

• QTS or PGCE in Geography
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
