I am working exclusively with an Outstanding College within the Darlington area, that need a teacher of Economics, for an extended role starting in September 2024. The role is full-time and you will be responsible for delivering AS and A Level Economics (80%) and Business Studies (20%).
It is essential you have experience teaching Economics (Essential) and Business studies (Desirable). You will need to be organised, innovative and draw on the students interests to ensure progress is made. You should be creative in your lesson delivery, as you will be teaching a range of different ability levels.
The college will provide you with SOW and resources and provide you with opportunities to access the CPD programme. The successful teacher will work with a team of specialists and will inspire all students to make progress. The college are open to applications from Newly-Qualified Teachers (NQT), Early Careers Teacher (ECT), as well as experienced practitioners.
To be considered for this position of Economics and Business Studies teacher you must:
*Have experience teaching KS5
*Manage coursework preparation, building up to their end of year qualification
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Ensure that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
