About the role:

One of our wonderful client schools based in Sheffield are seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and inspiring Spanish Teacher. The successful applicant will have a passion for the subject, an enthusiasm for teaching, and a commitment to supporting the academic and holistic development of every student within their care.

They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and learning and be able to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Subject knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student achievement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recognised teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt to various teaching scenarios.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
