SEND Teaching Assistant

  • SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Must have one to one experience
  • MUST HAVE experience working with SEND children IN SCHOOL.
  • £85 – £95 per day depending on experience
  • Full time Monday to Friday 8.15 – 3.30
  • Start date: ASAP

Must have previous experience working with Special Education Needs students or a similar role. A team teach qualified is desired but not essential.

Duration Long term, end date July 2024.

CER is working in partnership with a primary school based in Bradford to recruit for a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to work with their Ks1 and Ks2 pupils. This is a long-term role starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role in either a mainstream or specialist setting.

We are looking for someone who is driven, passionate and committed to supporting SEND learners with various special educational needs and have high expectations to ensure all pupils make good progress.

Requirements of the role

  • A valid DBS registered on the update service or be willing to obtain.
  • Previous experience working with SEN young children in a recent school environment.
  • Experience with KS1 and KS2 children
  • One to one experience
  • Two suitable references covering the last two years.
