About The Setting: The setting is a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the heart of Dinnington. The Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our onsite provision team. This role is pivotal in supporting our SEN students, helping them to thrive both academically and socially within the mainstream classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff members to monitor and report on student progress.
  • Engage with parents and carers to provide updates on their child’s development and well-being.
